Terms of Service
These Terms describe acceptable use of PingGuests. This page is a practical template and should be reviewed by counsel before production launch.
Service
PingGuests provides temporary live event links for short announcements to guests. It is not event planning software, an emergency notification system, or a messaging platform for regulated communications.
Host responsibility
Hosts are responsible for the event names, descriptions, messages, and links they create. Hosts should only share guest links with the intended audience.
Guest use
Guests may open event links without creating a visible account. Anonymous session identifiers may be used to support engagement features such as seen counts and likes.
Prohibited use
Do not use PingGuests for harassment, illegal content, spam, emergency alerts, sensitive personal data, or attempts to interfere with the service.
Expiration and availability
Event links expire 24 hours after creation. Event records, messages, message views, and likes are scheduled for deletion after expiration, subject to normal background processing delay. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, or operational incidents.
Disclaimers
PingGuests is provided as-is to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that every guest will see every message or that every notification will arrive instantly.
